40-3900 Electrically Conductive Epoxy Adhesive

May 15, 2013

Electrically conductive adhesives can be used as an electrical interconnect on non-solderable substrates such as plastic or ceramics, or to replace solder on thermally sensitive components that cannot withstand solder temperatures. The most popular filler material is silver due to its moderate cost and superior conductivity.

40-3900 is a silver filled epoxy adhesive that has been formulated for use in applications ranging from assembly or repair of printed circuit boards to LED lighting assemblies. Its low temperature cure makes it ideal for low stress bonding of substrates with highly dissimilar coefficients of expansion.

40-3900 is 100% solvent free and has a convenient 1:1 mix ratio. When fully cured, it will develop a strong, durable, very low resistance bond to glass, metals, ceramics, laminates and molded plastics.
