May 13, 2013 - Some high powered electrical devices (power supplies, power converters) can generate large amounts of heat that needs to be moved away from its source quickly and efficiently to prolong the service life of components.
50-1952 is a specially formulated silicone with excellent thermal stability (-65°C to +235°C), dielectric properties and thermal conductivity. Its inherent flexibility makes it easier to repair than epoxies. Due to extremely low shrinkage on cure and very low exotherm, large areas can be potted stress-free.
50-1952 is an outstanding choice for outdoor applications due to its high resistance to weathering and aging. It has a convenient 1:1 mix ratio and is low in toxicity and DOT safe.
